Hi, Main thing common man does not have time to look into scam and corruption. they are busy in their life… IPL scam is now totally forgotten and after somedays we will forget CWG scam. So how can we put the scam everytime in front of common man and unite them against corruption. Common man should protest on road and not only see news abt corruption in news and newspaper.

Believe me curruption is what we breathe as indians no body can escape & red tape is such in all departments that it creates opportunities for bribing which is an easy way out to all problems of red tape.

  5. Deepak says:

We all know only Politicians are corrupted, but interestingly in the Charity Institution, the Administrative Director Fr.Patrick Xavier is leading in his swindling money, what ever the fund given by the Founder Mrs.Gerdi Gutperle, this man with the help of Auditor every month showing bogus accounts, he has eaten crores of money to construct Medical College, he is not directly involved in the construction, but through his fraud netork he is doing all. Local people are very angry, they keep mum because this organisation is Catholic organisation, the name should not be spoiled and also they have high respect for Mrs.Gerdi Gutperle. Now with the help of another auditor investigation is in full swing, they are collecting material evidence, after that this man will be put into behind the bars, then nobody will help him

I just published an article in triond on how to reduce corruption in India. I am afraid I am not very good either in expressing or in law. If somebody who is good in both can read through and see some merits or demerits and get in touch with me from there, may be we all can come up with some new things.

  8. Binoy Sinha says:

Corruption can not be routed out by just following the corrupts. The root cause of corruption is moral less Politicians/MPs/ MLAs etc. We have to weed out corrupts starting from this level. But it is not easy. Indirect ways have to be adopted to weed out corrupts. Some suggestion is as follows:
1 All MPs/MLAs/Political authority’ reps in Institutor’s must retire at the age of 70. This should be known to all.
2 This has to start from Parliament.
3 Make public the assets of such people and one agency should monitor once in an year their assets at the end of year.

4 The development plan for one year must be published that the Portfolio minister needs to do. (for example what Agriculture Minister is doing to arrest onion prices? Why cost of egg is increasing by leaps and bounds when number of hens are same or increasing (not decreasing). These are some examples.

3 Each portfolio minister should have key performance index identified and improvement planned for each year. This should be monitored at least quarterly.

There are many other suggestion. I especially want that Bihar adopts this approach. I want to see progree in this respect then only it will be worth while to give opinion.

Why ur comment communication does not work. Please correct this if u have real intention to cleanse.

@Binoy – Agree with you that performance needs to be ‘measurable’.Its about time that ‘measurable performance’ is touchstone with which we judge Indian politicians. Perform or Perish should be the mantra.

corruption to be removed from its route.

  13. There are revolutions taking place in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya to oust their rulers because they were looting their countries using oppression, censorship and propaganda. Many countries have frozen the assets of these rulers and their cronies.

However, when a nation is systematically looted for the last 60 years to the tune of US$1,500 billion by its corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, and industrialists and the illegal money is stashed away in Swiss banks, the world leaders and Switzerland keep silent.

Is it because this appalling crime is perpetrated by the elected representatives of the world’s largest democracy?

What does it take to start a revolution in India? When can India win independence from the rule of corrupt politicians?

I appreciate you for the step you have taken.

According to me cardmoney should be introduced atleast
in India. Gradually paper money should be withdrawn. This way we can eliminate all illegal activities like bribery ,etc.Even theft can be prevented by this way. However, it canot be implemented within one or two years.

  25. MATHEW says:

WHEN WE ARE ALL TALKING OF CORRUPTION AT GOVT LEVELS, I WOULD LIKE TO THROW OPEN LIGHT ON CERTAIN AREAS WHERE INDIVIDUALS ARE PROMOTING OR PART OF CORRUPTION.COMMON AREAS/SITUATIONS ARE- VEHICLE REGISTRATION, LAND BUYING AND SELLING, PURCHASES MADE WITHOUT PROPER INVOICES , NOT HAVING AN INCOME NOT DISCLOSED TO AUTHORITIES, REACHING OFFICE AT THE STIPULATED TIME AND LEAVING AT STIPULATED TIME, NOT DELAYING FILES ,ETC. IF INDIVIDUALS TAKE A STAND NOT TO PAY BRIBE, THE WHOLE ACTIVITY WILL BE EFFECTIVE, THOUGH MAY TAKE A LITTLE MORE TIME. BUT WITHOUT THAT NO LAW OR AGITATION WILL SERVE ANY PURPOSE.ATLEAST THOSE WHO SUPPORT ANTI CORRUPTION CAN TAKE A STAND?

  26. admin says:

Govt certainly does not have a monopoly over Corruption, yet it is the pivot of a system that makes life difficult for the honest. I certainly don’t buy the argument that if individuals don’t pay bribe then the Corruption will be rooted out eventually. What this argument fails to take into account is the fact that such a hypothetical suggestion only mitigates consensual or optional corruption. Most often Corruption is enforced by the absence of an alternative with the bribe giver and the bribe taker utilises the authority vested in him by the Govt to extort bribe. Surely one can refuse to pay and become a crusader but such an option precludes a normal life with multiple constraints. So instead of merely relying on the will of the people to refrain from paying bribe, it is mandatory to make bribe taking a costly affair for at least those who get caught.

  27. sharmila says:

corruption is dangerous virus in india which stops from growing it and making it unhealthy. we have to kill it completely together. we youngsters believe on ourselves for making developed india.
